CANDIDATE GUIDANCE

Understand the steps before you apply.

Interest, an application, checks and an assignment are different stages. Know what each stage means and keep confidential information out of a first enquiry.

Start with ordinary information

A first introduction should concern your role interest, general location and how you can be contacted. It is not the place for passport numbers, DBS information, National Insurance, health details or bank information.

Check the registration page for current online availability. General questions can go to the company contact; do not attach confidential recruitment documents.

Progress through relevant checks

The particular role, duties, setting and client requirements determine what must be checked. Professional registration, training, references and right-to-work checks may need separate, appropriate verification.

A document being received is different from its authenticity, currency, relevance and legal suitability being verified. The website does not decide right to work, criminal-record suitability or professional registration automatically.

Read the applicable terms before an assignment

A website registration is not an employment contract, acceptance of worker terms or agreement to an assignment. Current engagement information and any required key information document must be provided through the appropriate reviewed process.

Ask about the engagement arrangement, pay, holiday treatment, deductions and assignment details before accepting work. No rate, fee, guaranteed hours, training entitlement or particular tax status is established by these pages.

Keep choices and records accurate

Tell the company if contact preferences, availability or relevant information change. A prospective worker should be able to ask about correction, access or closure of an application.

When applicant services are open, follow the authenticated request route shown in the account. While they are closed, use the company privacy/contact route without sending sensitive attachments.
